examples of bridges in Venice, Italy

A pedestrian bridge, Venice, Italy. One of more than 400 bridges over the 100 canals in Venice.

The famous Bridge of Sighs, built around 1600.
It connects the Doge's Prison (on right) with the main Palace (on left)
where the prisoner inquisition rooms were.

The beautiful Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal in Venice.

The architecture of Venice is amazing, from the bridges to the buildings.  I think the 3 photos show completely different, yet beautiful examples of the designs of bridges from the 1600's.
