the architecture of places of worship

One of the most interesting types of architecture I have seen are the many different styles of places of worship.  The following photos are all incredible examples of contrasting designs.
The Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain.
One of Antoni Gaudi's many masterpieces.
St. Mark's Cathedral, Venice, Italy
The Bath Abbey, Bath, England

Westminster Abbey, London, England
Where Princess Di married Prince Charles. Also where her funeral was held.

Lacock Abbey, Lacock, England
Parts of Harry Potter & Anne of Green Gables were filmed here.  It is also the home of photography, the place William Henry Fox Talbot first discovered the negative-positive photographic process - on accident!

The incredibly beautiful Glasgow Cathedral

A cathedral near Argyll, Scotland

We found this tiny little church on the island of Aruba.
The contrast between it and the examples of design above is incredible.
