My banner of choice is above. For this banner I chose the typography (Papyrus) & color, the art works to use and the effects used.
I made these decisions based on my eye for style, balance and symmetry.
I feel that my designs compliment the artist’s work because, well - they ARE the artist’s work. I used a series of Van Gogh’s paintings in the banner.
What do you think is successful about your design? I feel that it is instantly recognizable as Van Gogh’s work while being interesting enough to make a person want to look at it for a few moments.
The thing that could be improved the most about this project would be: My PhotoShop skills!
